Ruby Anniversary of the College was celebrated on 27th Febuary-2007 in which Her Excellency Smt. Pratibha Patil Governor Rajasthan, Her Highness Maharani Padmani Devi of Jaipur ,and His Excellency R.S. Gevai, Governor of Bihar graced the occasion.

National Confrence in Home-Science
National conference on” Challenges of Modern Society to the family structure” was held on 28 & 29 November 2008 in the Department of Home Science which was sponsored by U.G.C. It was inaugurated by Dr. Lokesh Shekhawat, V.C. , J.N.V. University, Jodhpur & Chaired by Mr. C.S.Jain, Chairman Managment Committee of Sona Devi Sethia Girls College Sujangarh , Valedictory session was presided over by Dr. Mangal Prajana , V.C., Jain Vishwa Bharti University Ladnun.

 

National Seminar in History Department-2008
24th Rajasthan History Congress It was held on 14 &15 December-2008 in which more than 100 historians participated. Joint Director Dr. M.L. Gupta inaugurated the function. In the closing ceremony the Chief guest was Hon’able Dr. Milap Duggar, Vice Chancellor of ISAE University, Sardarshahar

National Seminar in Hindi Department-2008
National Seminar on “Chhayawadi Kavya an Analysis” was organized on 17-18 December 2008 . Sponsored by UGC and Department of Hindi and University of Bikaner . The programme was inaugurated by Dr. C.B. Gena, V. C. Maharaja Ganga Singh University , Bikaner & was presided over by Dr. Ved Sharma, Prof. Rampuria College, Bikaner.
