The Admission Process

At SDS, we ensure a smooth and transparent admission process. Please follow the steps below to complete your application.

Steps to Apply

Admission form and prospectus can be obtained by paying Rs. 200/-. Forms can also be sent by post for an additional charge of Rs. 25/-.

Submit the completed form before the deadline set by the Commissioner of College Education, Rajasthan.

Late submissions will not be accepted.

Incomplete Forms

Forms will be rejected if any of the following are missing:

    Required certificates and mark sheets.
    Signature of the candidate or parent/guardian.
    Passport-sized photograph of the candidate.

Documents Required

The following documents must be submitted along with the admission form:

Attested photocopy of the mark sheet from the last qualifying examination.

Transfer Certificate issued by the school or college last attended.

Character Certificate from the institution last attended.

Medical Certificate
(if applicable).

Income Certificate (if applying for a fee concession).

Migration Certificate (for students from other universities).

Games/Rangering/NSS/NCC certificates (if applicable).

Bonafide Certificate (for out-of-state students).

Undertaking (for students applying after a gap of one or more years).

Admission Confirmation

After the cut-off list is displayed, students must deposit their fees by the due date to secure their admission. Failure to do so may result in the cancellation of their seat.

Admission Cancellation Policy

Admission may be cancelled for the following reasons:

    Errors or negligence during the admission process.
    Indiscipline or violation of college rules.
    Use of unfair means during examinations.

Criterion for Merit

    Admission is granted based on merit.
    Merit rules will follow the guidelines of the Government of Rajasthan.
    Separate merit lists will be prepared for SC, ST, OBC, Disabled, and General Categories.

Attendance Guidelines

    A minimum of 75% attendance is mandatory.
    Class attendance is compulsory for all students.
    Attendance will be recorded separately for theory and practical classes.
    Attendance for every student will be documented by the respective lecturer in the subject attendance register.
    Attendance updates will be announced in class on the last day of each month. Comprehensive attendance records will also be displayed on the notice board before Deepawali and Winter breaks.
    If a student is absent for 15 consecutive days, a fine of Rs. 10 per day will be imposed. For absences extending to a month or more, the college administration reserves the right to cancel the admission of the student.
    At the end of the academic session, students with less than 75% attendance will not be eligible to appear as regular candidates for examinations. However, they may apply to take exams as private candidates. For further clarification on attendance requirements, students may contact the Attendance Committee.
The college has a dedicated Attendance Committee to address attendance-related matters. The committee includes: Dr Jayshree Sethia, Vice Principal.
