About the Chairman
Mr. Nirmal Kumar Sethia, the Chairman of the Trust, is a global business leader, humanitarian, and visionary with over five decades of experience. Born in Kolkata and hailing from Sujangarh, Rajasthan, his illustrious career spans continents, yet his connection to his roots in India remains unshakable.
The institution was established in memory of his grandmother, Late Smt. Sona Devi Sethia, by his father, Late Shri Sohan Lal Ji Sethia. Today, Mr. Sethia carries forward this legacy with passion and purpose, ensuring the Trust continues to thrive as a force for good.
Widely respected in both the global business community and by world leaders, Mr. Sethia has served as an advisor to various governments. Under his leadership, the Trust has expanded and modernised its reach, with a particular focus on empowering women and fostering education in Rajasthan.
