The Rules for Examinations

All students are required to familiarise themselves with the rules and guidelines governing examinations. Strict adherence to these rules ensures a smooth and transparent process for everyone.

Examination Updates

All updates related to examinations will be displayed on the college notice board. Students are advised to regularly check for announcements.
    The college prospectus contains detailed information on attendance, admission, and examinations. Students are expected to read and follow these rules.
    Important notices and updates are displayed on the notice board.
    Admission forms and prospectuses can be obtained for Rs. 200/- (postal charges Rs. 50/- for mailed forms).
    Forms must be submitted by the deadline set by the Commissioner of College Education, Rajasthan.

Examination Application

    After filling the exam application form issued by the university, students must submit a hard copy to the college within 5 days.
    Submission of the college annual fee receipt is mandatory along with the application. Forms without receipts will not be accepted.
    Admit cards will only be issued after clearing all dues.

Conditions for Incomplete Forms

A form will be deemed incomplete if it is submitted without:

    Required certificates and mark sheets.
    Signature of the candidate or parent/guardian.
    Passport-sized photograph of the candidate.

Exam Format

Under the NEP-2020 guidelines, examinations follow the semester system.

Undergraduate (UG) Programmes:
    Exams for B.A., B.Com., B.Sc., and B.C.A. will be conducted twice a year.
    The UG degree comprises 6 semesters in total.
Postgraduate (PG) Programmes:
    Exams for PG programmes will also be held twice a year.
    The PG degree comprises 4 semesters in total.
Exam Schedule:
    Semester I, III, V: December - January
    Semester II, IV, VI: May - June
Exam Schedule:
    Semester I, III: December - January
    Semester II, IV: May -June

Practical Examinations

    Practical exams will be conducted as per university norms.
    Attendance in practical classes is mandatory.
    Students must carry all required files, projects, and materials to the practical examination.
    Practical exams will consist of both written and viva components.

Internal Assessment

    Internal assessments will be conducted after the completion of each unit during all six semesters. Absentees will be fined Rs. 50/- per subject. Parents will be informed if absenteeism persists.
    Every student must submit a project copy to the respective teacher.
    Subject presentations are mandatory.
    Internal assessment marks will only be submitted to the university if the above rules are followed.

Attendance Rules

In accordance with the rules of MGS University, the Department of College Education, and the Government of Rajasthan:

    A minimum of 75% attendance is mandatory for both theory and practical classes.
    Attendance will be recorded separately for each subject by the respective lecturer.
    Monthly attendance records will be announced and displayed on the notice board.
    Absences exceeding 15 consecutive days will incur a fine of Re. 1/- per day. Prolonged absences of a month or more may result in admission cancellation.
    Students with less than 75% attendance will not be permitted to appear as regular candidates for examinations.
The college has a dedicated Examination Committee to address examination-related matters. The committee includes: Dr. Sadhana Singh, Principal and Dr Jayshree Sethia, Vice Principal.
